HPP MEZDRA

HPP "Mezdra" was put into operation in 1950 and all the equipment in it is morally and physically outdated. This requires to be executed comprehensive rehabilitation of the plant and equipment in it.

In hydro power plant are installed 2 units of water turbines "Kaplan" coupled with generators, with an installed capacity of 1375 KVA, rated speed of 250 rev/min.

Are rehabilitated hydro units, including managing their systems, all equipment is replaced in 20 kV switchgear. There are new control room for HPP, new room of medium-voltage 20 kV switchgear, new transformer bays and a new room for the diesel generator. Are replaced power transformers to the units “generator - transformer" and transformer for own needs.

All work on the repair and replacement of equipment are met in accordance with approved business projects parts: electric and automation, machine-technology, hydro-mechanical, building and construction, etc.

Were performed the following works:

1. Rehabilitation of building construction of the plant. Built new technological areas.
