Lukovit HPP – delivery and replacement of emergency outlet in inlet chamber
Design, delivery of equipment and materials, civil works, commissioning and putting into exploitation of new spherical valve for emergency outlet in inlet chamber of Lukovit HPP.
1. Part Mechanical and Technology:
- Replacement of existing DN 1200 spherical valve by new DN 1200 steel spherical valve, PN 10, electrically operated. Connection of flanges, construction lengths 630 – F4 according to DIN 3202;
- New welded ø 1400 x 10 steel pipeline installed inside the existing ø 1520 x 10 pipeline, 7 pcs. Individual sections, 1600 – 2250 mm long;
- New disassembly connection DN 1200, PN 10 of minimum construction length 260 mm, for repairs on the gate and replacement of flange connection seals;
- Replacement of 2 existing adapters DN 1500 / DN 1200 by new DN 1400 / DN 1200 adapters of lower inclination of 3.70;
- Transient section (ring) of the table gate funnel to the new ø 1400 x 10 pipeline.
- Technological instructions for installation, welding and control on the welded equipment has been developed according to which the installation and welding of the new steel pipeline have been executed.
- New power switchboard for local control of the gate;
- New power and control cables from the power switchboard to the electric actuator of the gate installed in new cable trays.
- Restoration of the water-tightness of the defected welding seams between the transient section of the plate gate and the pipeline starting point. This restoration has been carried out in three stages. Stages 1 and 2 – injection with single-component and two-component polyurethane injection mixture, stage 3 – restoration of the welding seams of the metal sheathing.
- Sealing the area between the new and existing steel pipeline of the emergency outlet by modified sealing cement grout. Technology for execution of the sealing works has been developed – arrangement scheme for the injection packers, mixture injection equipment, working sequence for performed types of works.
- Construction of new gate room flooring of steel structure;
- Construction of new spherical valve service platform of steel structure.
